Fujitsu Highlights Touch Panels, Mesh Networking and Augmented Reality at Display Week 2017

SAN JOSE, Calif. - May 17, 2017 - In booth #404 during Display Week 2017, Fujitsu Components America will feature demos highlighting the use of wireless, sensor and touch panel technologies in various industrial and healthcare Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

“Wireless IoT sensor data collection and monitoring is being adopted increasingly on the factory floor and in healthcare settings,” said Bob Thornton, COO, Fujitsu Components America, Inc. “This has led to new applications for machine control, preventive equipment maintenance, patient information and medical asset tracking utilizing a variety of Bluetooth Low Energy-connected devices and tools,” he said.

Booth demonstrations will include:

  • A mesh networked, visual imaging wall made up of Yumi Cloud GLOW cubes, run entirely by a Fujitsu Bluetooth Low Energy module, the MBH7BLZ2A-109009.
  • An industrial preventive maintenance application using the Fujitsu/CRATUS BlueBrain™ sensor data collection platform to transmit IoT data into an augmented reality headset.
  • Industrial machine control using Fujitsu’s new 4-wire resistive touch panel.
