In her talk, Rashmi Rao, senior director, advanced engineering for leading automotive electronics supplier HARMAN International, will describe the importance of differentiated in-car experiences in meeting consumer demands. She will further discuss how HARMAN will contribute to enabling the connected car of 2025.
1:00 – 1:30 p.m. Keynote Address: Automotive and Display Market Trends
The amount of driving-related data continues to escalate, and OEMs must find new ways to keep drivers informed without distracting them. Roger Lanctot, associate director for the Global Automotive Practice at market research firm Strategy Analytics, will identify these challenges, as well as the implications of new display technologies for the automotive landscape.
1:30 – 2:45 p.m. Flat-Panel Display Ubiquity
Presenters for this session will describe display innovations targeted at the automotive market, the advantages and trade-offs of technology choices and the outlook for OLED displays in the automotive market.
